Winner Level
At Leap English and Digital Class, learning goes beyond the classroom—it creates real impact. Our Winner students took their language skills to the next level by collaborating with Kampoeng Dolanan, Indonesia, an organization dedicated to preserving traditional Indonesian games. Understanding the importance of cultural heritage, they helped translate Kampoeng Dolanan’s company profile into English, making it accessible to a global audience. Additionally, they created English-language game tutorials, ensuring that people from non-Indonesian-speaking countries can learn and enjoy these traditional games. Through this project, our students not only practiced their English skills but also contributed to cultural preservation and global understanding, proving that language can be a bridge that connects traditions with the world.
Project Name: Leap x Kampoeng Dolanan
Objective:
- To support Kampoeng Dolanan, Indonesia, in preserving traditional Indonesian games by making their materials bilingual (Indonesian & English).
- To increase global accessibility to Indonesia’s cultural heritage through translated company profiles and game tutorials.
Student Contributions:
- Company Profile Translation
Students translated Kampoeng Dolanan’s official company profile from Indonesian to English to help the organization connect with a global audience. - Game Tutorial Videos & Guides
Students created clear, engaging English-language tutorials on how to play traditional games, making them accessible to non-Indonesian speakers.
Impact:
– Promotes Indonesian culture internationally.
– Enhances students’ real-world English skills through practical application.
– Encourages cultural exchange by making traditional games more widely understood.
This project is a perfect example of how students can use their skills to make a meaningful difference, proving that even small actions can help preserve traditions for future generations. 🌱🎲
Step Out Level
At Leap, we believe that learning English should be visual, interactive, and engaging. That’s why our Step Out (Intermediate) students use mind maps to explore English grammar in a creative way! Traditional grammar learning can feel overwhelming, but mind mapping helps students organize their thoughts visually, see connections between concepts, and engage both creativity and logic—making learning more intuitive and enjoyable. Instead of just memorizing rules, students actively process information, think critically, and take ownership of their learning. These mind maps aren’t just study tools; they’re a reflection of each student’s unique thought process and a testament to how creativity can enhance understanding. Through this showcase, we’re excited to share their colorful, structured, and insightful approach to grammar with you!
GOGO Level
At Leap, our GOGO students take their first exciting steps in English by not just learning words but bringing them to life! Starting with simple written compositions on topics like family, animals, and daily life, they build their vocabulary and sentence structure. But the learning doesn’t stop on paper—each student then presents their composition in front of the class, practicing pronunciation, fluency, and confidence. As they progress to upper GOGO, they explore basic tenses like present continuous, simple past, and future tense, gradually developing their storytelling skills. Through this process, our young learners go from writing their first sentences to speaking with confidence, proving that every small step leads to big growth in communication!
