During the exploration of plastic usage in our daily lives, Akio designed an educational animation that helps viewers decide whether or not plastic should continue being part of modern homes. Inspired by the ocean cleanup movement, this project reimagines alternatives to plastic for a more sustainable living environment.
Problem statement : The ocean cleanup device can only help to remove plastics from the ocean. Elsewhere, we still see a huge amount of plastic use in most homes. Can you re-design a home that uses alternatives to plastic?
