Dad: Hi Cinta! How was school today? Did you do any special activities?
Cinta: School was good! We had art class today, and we did a fun project.
Dad: That sounds like a lot of fun! What did you make in art class?
Cinta: We made colorful paintings of our favorite animals.
Dad: Wow, that sounds really creative! I’d love to see it later. Did you have any other interesting activities?
Child: Yeah, we also had a science experiment. We made a volcano that erupted with baking soda and vinegar!
Dad: That’s really cool! I bet it was exciting to see. Did you learn something interesting from the experiment?
Cinta: Yeah, we learned about how volcanoes work and why they erupt. It was awesome!
Dad: It sounds like you had a really engaging day at school. Do you have any other special activities coming up?
Cinta: Tomorrow, we’re going on a nature walk for our science class. I’m looking forward to it!
Dad: That sounds like a great opportunity to learn about nature. Remember to ask your teacher lots of questions. I’m sure it’ll be a fantastic experience.
Cinta: I will, Dad! I’m really excited about it. Oh please come fast tomorrow xixi.
English Speaking Practice #2 – percakapan bahasa inggris
Mom: Have you ever noticed how sometimes it feels really hot outside, even when it’s not the dry season?
Boy: Yeah, I’ve noticed that. Sometimes it’s really warm.
Mom: That’s right. It’s something called temperature, and it can change for different reasons. One of the big reasons is something called climate change.
Boy: Climate change? What’s that?
Mom: Well, it’s like when the Earth’s temperature gets warmer because of certain things we do. It’s really important to understand because it affects our planet.
Boy: Oh, I see.
Mom: Yeah, it’s a big topic, but don’t worry, we can learn together. Would you like to know more about it?
Boy: Sure!
Mom: Great! So, when the Earth gets too warm, it can cause some problems. Like strange weather patterns, floods in places that don’t usually have them, and it can get too hot in some areas.
Boy: That doesn’t sound good.
Mom: No, it’s not. But the good news is, we can help! There are things we can do to take care of our planet.
Boy: Like what?
Mom: We can use less energy by turning off lights when we don’t need them, and using water as much as needed. And we can also use things like reusable water bottles and bags to make less trash.
Boy: That sounds easy!
Mom: It is! And when we talk to our friends and other family about it, we can all work together to make a big difference.
Boy: I’m going to tell my friends about this!
Mom: That’s a great idea. Every little bit helps. We can all do our part to take care of our home, the Earth.
